Bio:

Eric A. Budd is an experienced leader who drives continual improvement in service and manufacturing organizations using methods grounded in Dr. W. Edwards Deming’s work. Before returning to Michigan, he served as Improvement Program Manager (ACE) at United Technologies, teaching and leading Value Stream Management and lean implementation events in North America and overseas. With Mary Jenkins, he co-developed the original CQI Quality Academy, which he has led and updated since 2012, and now leads the IQI Academy for Leadership Fundamentals. In 2017, the Michigan Lean Consortium honored him with a Distinguished Service Award. He holds a B.S. in Information Management and an M.S. in Quality Systems Management and serves on the ASQ Deming Medal Committee.
